Plus: Pottery Barn taps Roller Rabbit prints to unlock pattern demand

Bedding Edit

Here's what's happening this week in the world of bedding eCommerce:
- SGI grows 52% but margins compress; ad scale rising.
- Pottery Barn x Roller Rabbit refreshes core bedding assortment.
- Organic mattresses project 8.5% CAGR through 2032.
- Brooklinen pushes 46% bundle discounts before move-in season.
- Mayfairsilk targets menopause with thermoregulating silk guide.

At eTail Boston 2025, Fospha’s Chief Product Officer Dom Devlin joined leaders from Ahold Delhaize, Fleet Feet and Bonsai to tackle one of marketing’s most expensive blind spots: how brands measure performance across channels.

Too many brands still skew budgets toward the final click - because that’s the only place their reporting gives them certainty, all while under-funding the demand generation that actually drives long-term growth. Fleet Feet’s Tiffany Lee shared how cutting upper-funnel spend for just eight months saw new customer acquisition drop sharply, only recovering once awareness campaigns were restored.

Dom added another layer: the marketplace blind spot. Fospha’s data shows 42% of Amazon sales are influenced by non-Amazon ads - yet most reporting tools treat those sales as “organic,” meaning the channels that triggered the purchase never get the credit. Without that visibility, key growth drivers are left under-invested.

This is where Fospha’s Halo capability comes in - bringing DTC and marketplace sales into one Unified ROAS metric. It allows brands to see the true impact of channels like TikTok, Meta, and YouTube across all revenue streams, not just their own sites, and make confident, evidence-based decisions about where to spend next.

📌WEEKLY MUST-KNOWS

RETAIL PARTNERSHIPS
Pottery Barn Announces Collaboration With Roller Rabbit
Pottery Barn is expanding Roller Rabbit’s signature prints into its core home line, building on prior Kids and Teen collaborations. The move elevates pattern-driven assortments ahead of holiday and back-to-school cycles and leverages brand IP to refresh hero categories. This signals continued appetite for design-led licensing that can lift AOV and reduce assortment fatigue; DTC brands and marketplace sellers should expect faster pattern cycles and heightened content needs.

SEASONAL PROMOTIONS
Brooklinen Launches “Big Bed Sale” with Up to 46% Off Bedding Bundles
Brooklinen is kicking off its end-of-summer Big Bed Sale, offering major discounts on move-in-ready bedding bundles—perfect for new homeowners, college students, and seasonal refreshes. Bestsellers like the Washed European Linen Move-In Bundle are 46% off, while luxe sateen, waffle blankets, and limited-edition Caroline Z. Hurley prints are also reduced. The sale, which includes Back to School Starter Bundles, is designed to drive urgency ahead of peak move-in and fall nesting season.

MARKET OUTLOOK
Organic Mattress Market Dazzling Worldwide | Major Giants Latex, Obasan
HTF projects the organic mattress market to grow at an 8.5% CAGR from 2025–2032, fueled by indoor air-quality concerns, certifications (GOTS/GOLS/OEKO-TEX), and eco-first purchasing. DTC and specialty retail remain key channels, with VOC and fire-safety rules influencing design and compliance. Marketers in natural/clean sleep should prime SEO, claims substantiation, and certification storytelling to capture rising intent while managing costlier inputs.
